Mrs. Van's method of teaching was the first method that worked for our son.  Although  he was not diagnosed with dyslexia, he learned "differently" than was being taught in school.  Her approach opened up limitless possibilities for our son.  She provides strategies and techniques that allow a child to not only learn the basics but allow them to soar to their potential.  Our son has been an academic success and it is largely in part to his experiencing the lessons provided in this book through Mrs. van.

She is an outstanding educator. We highly recommend this book to all parents and teachers.  It will help countless other students.  We are so pleased that Mrs.Van wrote about her method and that other generations will be positively impacted by it.

My daughter had a severe learning disability and was sinking in school. We had special education, tutors; my wife and I are both teachers, support from the Learning Disability Association and little progress was evident.

"Mrs. Van" used her long honed techniques with her and week by week the improvement grew, and over the course of the lessons contained in her new book she became a writer who today is taking AP English Composition and has received three academic college scholarships.

The method works; it's simplicity, easy to assimilate exercises, and lack of dense training instructions make it a life saving program. It worked for our daughter, and the children of hundreds of others. It can be the answer to many parental prayers and student frustrations.

If you buy no other book to help your child with their learning challenges in reading and writing let it be this one.
